Head-to-Head: The Atlantis vs. Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

Two mega resorts have separated themselves from the pack in Nassau, Bahamas (Atlantis is technically on its own island). The Atlantis, consisting of four sub-resorts sprawls the entirety of paradise island and has become synonymous with the Bahamas, the backdrop of us 90s baby's favorite teenage adventure romance movie Mary-Kate and Ashley Holiday in the Sun. The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is a relatively newer resort with less acreage but comparable amenities and value (although value is a stretch for both). This post puts the Atlantis and Baha Mar head to head in the most important categories: rooms, dining, beaches, pools, amusement park, casino, and targeted clientele/family-friendlyness.
